In 9th grade science, students explore topics in physical science, earth and space science, and life science.
Dive into science fundamentals! In 9th grade science, students explore topics in physical science, earth and space science, and life science. In the first semester, students study topics such as matter structure, volume and mass, earth structures and changes, geology and time measurement, and the basics of oceanography, including ocean biology, currents and turbidity, and physical properties of the ocean.
Astronomy, constellations, and space explorations are topics that begin the second semester in this course. Lessons explore body health, infections and diseases, body defense mechanisms, and medical advances. This course from our online academy is completed with a section on science and tomorrow which reviews the impacts of humanity on environments. Each unit of the course from our online academy contains quizzes and a test to evaluate progress and student mastery. Projects and hands-on experiments included.
