Old Testament Survey at Alpha Omega Academy provides an overview of the authorship and contents of the entire Old Testament.

Travel the stories of the Old Testament! This course from our online academy provides an overview of the authorship and contents of the entire Old Testament, particularly noting how God worked in history to prepare people for the coming of His Son. First semester topics include the Creation and the Flood, Abraham and Isaac, lineage to Joseph, the Exodus of God’s people, Israel in Canaan and Joshua, the Judges, and spiritual decline.

Continuing in the second semester, students examine the Kingdom of Israel under Saul, David, and Solomon; the Divided Kingdom; the captivity and stories of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel; the Prophets; and the Restoration with the rebuilding of the temple and the walls of Jerusalem. Course units in this course from our online academy contain essays, quizzes, and tests to evaluate progress and student mastery.
