Prepare students for the real world after graduation with Office Applications I: Microsoft® Word®, PowerPoint®, and Publisher®. This online academy elective for grades 9-12 dives into the basics of office software applications, including using applications to design, develop, create, and share business documents.
Great for building practical skill sets, this five-unit course introduces students to general computer usage needs that employers look for and colleges recommend. Lesson topics include mail merge, tab stops, reference features, modification of documents, and collaboration of presentations. Course units contain quizzes and tests to evaluate progress and student mastery.
Note: Students enolled in this course are required to have the 2010 version of Microsoft® Office® software for completing course projects.
