For the states of AK, CT, DE, HI, IA, ID, LA, MA, ME, MN, MS, MT, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV, and WY, students develop their critical thinking and research skills as they complete the course from our online academy by preparing reports on a variety of topics that include state government and leaders, a historical timeline, state growth and population, natural resources, economics and business, tourism and cultural distinctions, and Christian heritage and influence.
For the states of AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NC, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI, the course from our online academy is organized in a five-unit format that includes lessons on state introduction, history and culture, government, economy, and citizenship.
