As a music teacher at Calvert Academy, Edward White has a natural passion for all things music, and he loves to share that enthusiasm with his students.
“I enjoy sharing my love for music with my students and inspiring them to be creative,” he said. “There is no greater gift than sparking a student’s curiosity and helping them learn to develop the necessary skills to be expressive through music.”
Born and raised in England, White spent most of his childhood living in a beautiful country town called Cheltenham. While he misses the countryside walks and the Sunday roast dinners, he said he certainly doesn’t miss the rain! As a child, he loved music and although he once aspired to be a professional cricket player, music captured his heart. In addition to his teaching job, he also performs music regularly in South Florida, works as a music director for a church, and runs a private studio where he primarily teaches guitar and piano lessons.
