Over 10 years of teaching, Megan Oliver has taught courses such as Strategies for Success for high school students approaching college and Critical Thinking for 8th grade students. She has also taught computer software to adult learners. At Calvert Academy, she serves as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor, where she gets a thrill out of seeing her students’ creativity.
“I enjoy reviewing student projects and seeing how creative and dedicated the students are,” she said. “I have seen so many awesome newsletters, PowerPoints, coding, multimedia activities, etc.”
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, her childhood was filled with many memories of fun, laughter, and sports with family and friends. Today, she loves to eat and try new restaurants and cuisines whenever she is not enjoying her husband’s cooking. She also likes to travel within the states and abroad.
